Clients have several options when it comes to choosing law firms. They have few options when it comes to choosing the outcome. At Addabbo & Greenberg, we believe clients deserve the best possible outcome available. We have a proven track record for using our experience and commitment to achieving favorable results that have earned us gratitude from our clients, respect from our peers, praise from our community and recognition across the country.

"Words are not adequate for the tremendous effort you displayed in court on my behalf. You've been my lawyer, you've been my advisor, you've been my friend but most of all you've been my greatest helper. You've given me a great second lease on life. From me, my wife and my entire family, thank you."
Mohamed S.

Whether we are defending a person charged with a Crime, representing a Real Estate buyer or seller, or litigating for a Plaintiff suing for Personal Injury, Wrongful Death or other Negligence, we use our experience and commitment to achieve outstanding results for our clients. Our firm has earned a National Reputation for positive results such as these notable cases:

  • The successful defense of a person charged in the 1987 infamous Howard Beach Hate Crime case.
  • The 1994 jury acquittal of a teen in the “Maze” murder trial.
  • The 2004 acquittal of a New York City Police Officer charged with vehicular manslaughter.
  • The 2005 acquittal of a defendant of all criminal charges stemming from a highly publicized "Hate Crime Trial".
  • The 2006 investigation of a popular New York City Detective by the Queens District Attorney which the District Attorney declined to prosecute.
  • The defense of the Clerk of the Scales in an alleged fraud involving Jockeys' Weight at Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga Race Track prosecuted by the Attorney General Organized Crime Bureau.

Our experience and commitment is evidenced by our results:

  • In the midst of trial, Judge Scarano granted Todd Greenberg’s motion to dismiss a 291 count indictment against his client, Mario Sclafani, the clerk of scales for the New York Racing Association. In granting the motion, Mr. Greenberg proved to the court that the methodology used by the investigators was terribly flawed and inaccurate.
  • Representing the family of a 45 year old New York City Police Officer who committed suicide while incarcerated in a Nassau County jail, our client was awarded a $875,000 Wrongful Death Settlement in Federal District Court.
  • A $3 million settlement was reached prior to trial in February 2007 for the family of an undocumented alien working in the country for two months prior to his death caused by a defective scaffold.
